Nebraska resident first-year and transfer students enrolled in health care, engineering, mathematics, or computer information systems degree programs can apply for consideration of the Nebraska Career Scholarship
Transfer students may receive scholarships of up to $10,000.
Incoming freshmen students with ACT scores 20+ may receive scholarships of up to $10,000. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, housing and food, or relevant tools and equipment.
How to Be Considered for Eligibility
Eligible students admitted to qualifying degree programs with an ACT score of 20 or higher and a competitive GPA can apply for consideration of this scholarship. Complete the following steps by March 1:

Conditions for Renewal of the Nebraska Career Scholarship
This scholarship commitment is renewable for up to four years, contingent upon continued funding from the state of Nebraska, provided the following conditions are met:
Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
Successfully complete 24 bet36365体育 credit hours each academic year (fall and spring semesters)
Remain enrolled in eligible degree program
Complete a Nebraska-based internship, apprenticeship, clinical position or other work related to career field prior to graduation

Students selected for the Nebraska Careers Scholarship will be notified no later than March 15.
Scholarship holders transferring to another NU-campus (other than for pre-health majors transferring to UNMC or for transfer associated with formally approved NU to NU 2 + 2 programs) are eligible for consideration as transfer-student awardees. There is no expectation that funding will be provided by the new campus. Recipients transferring to a non-Nebraska University campus will not be considered eligible for the Nebraska Career Scholarship.

A recipient whose scholarship and/or financial aid awards exceed their total charges on MyBLUE in a semester will receive a refund for the difference from the bet36365体育 Student Accounts Office.
Unfortunately, the Nebraska Career Scholarship funding is intended for new incoming freshmen and transfer students beginning enrollment as of Spring 2021. Any students already enrolled in an eligible degree program prior to Spring 2021 will not be considered eligible.
